(Retired Soldiers Club Book 4)
Captain Chris Spies of the Hawks is almost killed in an ambush meant for Captain Spies of the National Intelligence Agency. The one thing that confuses the Hawks: Captain Spies of the NIA was killed the previous day. The Hawks investigate the double attempt at murder of Captain Spies as well as that of a well-loved beer brew-master. They soon find out that Captain Spies’s investigation into terrorism had uncovered a link between a ruthless Russian oligarch who doesn’t let scruples stand in his way to more riches and an internal investigation that implicated senior members of the NIA in the Russian’s plots. Their investigation moves to London where they learn the horrifying truth of why someone wanted a brew-master dead. Now they have to race to save the lives of thousands of innocent people who unwittingly became pawns in the largest and most cold blooded diamond heist in the world. They have only one advantage, the Retired Soldiers Club who is willing to risk anything to stop the tragedy.
