(Retired Soldiers Club Book 10)
Michael Brugman is worried about the upcoming G20 summit. Geopolitical tension is at a high and any of the leaders at the summit will make a good target for a terrorist attack. Brugman finds evidence that a new and lethal hallucinatory drug was tested in South Africa and he calls on his friends to help him find out who is controlling the deadly substance. The investigation pitches Colonel Patrick McIntosh of the Hawks into a confrontation with his superiors and the national prosecution authority. The senior officers of the Hawks are suspended days before the summit. Without any official sanction, the team decides to continue the quest to stop the assassinations and to unmask the corruption in the police services. Whatever the cost. With multiple targets, and only hours before the final confrontation, the team is forced to rely on old enemies.
